As the short-term Head Editor of The Fashion Circle, I feel it’s my duty to share only the best of the best.

When it comes to makeup, the absolute BEST on the market, in my opinion, is Be a Bombshell Cosmetics.

With their bright colors and affordable prices, it honestly doesn’t get better than BaBC. I’ve designed entire makeup looks using only their products. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I was lucky enough to get in contact with Melisa S. Behrendt, Marketing & Public Relations Director for Be a Bombshell Cosmetics, in order to grill her about what makes Be a Bombshell Cosmetics so amazing. Check out my interview with her below:

What do YOU think it means to be a “bombshell?”

Melisa: Being a Bombshell means bringing out that inner beauty we all know is inside us. It doesn't matter what size, shape, or skin tone you are. We are all Bombshells.

I have extremely sensitive skin, but I'm able to wear ALL of your products without any reactions. How is this possible??

Do you purposely formulate your products to be friendly to sensitive-skinned individuals?

Melisa: Our owner/founder has always had sensitive skin. One of our employees has known our founder since she was four years old, and even she remembers her having sensitive skin back then.

Our founder makes sure that each ingredient in our products are formulated and produced for those with sensitive skin. Finding that balance is challenging sometimes, but it’s worth it in the end. Being that she has always had to live with sensitive skin, she understands the frustration of not being able to use a lot of products. So she created a line to fix just that.

I had heard that you guys refuse to do animal testing on your products – is this true?

Melisa: Yes, definitely true. We love our fur babies and would never want to use them for testing.

You have an amazing selection of BOLD colors at affordable prices. Do you have any tried-but-true favorites?

Or, even better, are there any NEW products we should be on the lookout for?

Melisa: We have tons of tried-but-true favorites! It's hard to just pick a few, but we will try. Our first product launched was one of the greatest, Onyx liquid eyeliner. It's what got our company going and will always be a favorite.

We love our eyeshadow quads for the fact that you can create multiple looks with one quad, it's a great travel companion, the colors are amazing, and the names are fitting for each quad. As for one of our newest products, Eye Paints or Potions, we love the colors and creations these products can make. They add so much vibrancy to a look, that we just adore these.

We definitely have some new products in the works but don't plan to launch them until end of this year or in early 2019. So you will have to keep an eye out.

I've noticed that many of the featured customers on your Instagram are male.

What are your thoughts on the new wave of “bombshell” men out there?

Melisa: We believe that ANYONE can Be A Bombshell! We love our male MUAs [makeup artists]. It goes to show that makeup isn't just for women. Most of these amazing males know how to do makeup better than any of us in the office, to be honest. We love this new wave of men in makeup and welcome it with open arms.

Is there anything else you'd like to share with The Fashion Circle's readers?

Melisa: We just want the readers to know about who we are and what we stand for. We love cosmetics. We love fun vibrant colors. And we love pushing MUAs, or cosmetic lovers in general, out of their comfort zone by creating amazing looks with products/colors, they never thought of using. We want to help those inner Bombshells shine from the outside.

So why wait? “Today is the day, to become a Bombshell”.
